Frequently Asked Questions:

Is there an online version of the school?

In the near future, there will be. If you would like to be notified when the online school is activated, please e-mail me and request a notification.

Where is the live school located?

The live school will be hosted at Northville Christian Assembly in Northville, Michigan (starting June 7th, 2011). It is located at 41355 Six Mile Rd. Northville, Michigan.

How much is tuition for the school?

My desire is to make the online school available to Christians all around the world—especially in nations where finances are hard to come by. I feel led to make it available also to believers even in America who may not have the funds available to pay for education.

With this in mind, I also know that we need to somehow cover the cost of the school. Therefore, while tuition is free, we request that those who are able make donations to help support the ministry.

Given the cost of producing each training, maintaining and enhancing the web site, and dedicating time to running the school, the requested donation is $50 per student per 8-session course (or $150 for the whole Basic School). If you can afford a larger donation, that will help cover the cost of those participants who cannot afford tuition on their own. And if you can only afford a smaller donation, that's fine too. I care more about multiplying the Gospel than I do about meeting a budget.

Can I still join if the school has already started?

When the online school launches, it may be joined at any time. As for the live school, the Summer 2011 courses need to be completed in order from start to finish in order to receive a certificate of completion. You must be able to commit to attending every Monday night from June 7th through August 23rd from 6:00p until 9:00p in order to graduate from the Basic School.

However, if you would like to sit in on some of the courses, you are more than welcome. You will not be able to graduate without full participation, but you will still benefit from the spiritual topics discussed.

Are there any textbooks required?

Yes, but only one. The only text for the WSSM is the Bible! Handouts will be provided for each course.

What are the requirements for graduation?

Each student will receive a certificate of completion at the end of each 8-week session (in the online school, this will be a digital file). To officially graduate from the entire "Basic School," each student will need to complete the following:

  • "Basic 1" or a live "Transformation Weekend"
  • "Basic 2"
  • "Basic 3"

In order to graduate from the advanced school, a person must first complete the Basic School and then:

  • Any 12 Elective Courses (currently under development)
  • A 1,000 word essay on how you have been impacted by the training in the WSSM, how you have seen the Spirit of God at work during your training, and how you intend to use what you've learned to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
  • Complete an application for graduation.

Is housing available for out-of-town visitors?

Students are responsible for their own housing. However, if you are interested in coming for the summer, please e-mail me and I'll see if there is anyone with a temporary room available for rent.

How do I enroll in the school of ministry?

Enrollment is as simple as supplying your name, e-mail address, and some basic information on a web form. Check out the enrollment page for more information.
