Purpose

The Wildfire School of Supernatural Ministry (WSSM) exists to facilitate intensive training and equipping of men and women who want to experience, proclaim, and demonstrate the power and love of God. The purpose is not to move people through a program, but rather to launch each one into supernatural ministry in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Goals

  • To bring glory and honor to our Father in Heaven by revealing Jesus Christ in this world through the power of the Holy Spirit.
  • To enhance our own relationships with God and the Body of Christ (the Church) through passionate prayer, wholehearted fellowship, Christ-centered discipleship, and Spirit-filled evangelism.
  • To develop in each person a supernatural, Christian worldview that is deeply rooted in the Word of God and the Kingdom of God.
  • To offer Christians an opportunity to discover and develop their spiritual gifts, which the Holy Spirit gives to each one as He sees fit (1 Cor. 12:11).
  • To provide practical guidance in hearing and obeying the voice of God while promoting mutual accountability among believers.
  • To rapidly multiply the Kingdom of God like wildfire--first by expanding God's reign within each participant (through sanctification and transformation) and then by spreading it to others (through evangelism, discipleship, and planting small groups).
  • To train, equip, and send out passionate Christ-followers who are filled with the Holy Spirit and saturated in the love of Father God.
  • To dramatically impact local communities with supernatural demonstrations of the power and love of God, and to thereby reach as many people with the Gospel of Jesus Christ as possible.

Description

The Wildfire School of Supernatural Ministry is a dynamic training program that is meant to convey the infinite, extravagant, supernatural love of God through ministries of compassion and spiritual gifts. The School is not based on a linear curriculum or model. Rather it is comprised of a series of online videos, recommended reading, and practical ministry training twice a month.

Since there are no fees involved, participants are free to join or drop out of WSSM at any time but are encouraged to be consistently active for the sake of their own experience and development. Videos and reading are completed at the participant's own pace, and practical ministry trainings are held on the first and third Sunday afternoons of each month.

Requirements for Graduation

It should be noted that one does not have to graduate from the School in order to be used by God in supernatural ministry; however, only those participants who officially graduate will be granted WSSM's endorsement or be subsequently invited to serve as staff in the School.

Graduation from the Wildfire School of Supernatural Ministry is awarded only after successfully:

  • Completing the recommended reading
  • Watching the online training videos
  • Actively participating in 25 practical ministry trainings
  • Attending a WSSM-approved Encounter Weekend
  • Submitting a quality graduation essay
  • Passing the final review board process
